Hong Kong’s most popular street market is the Ladies’ Market in Mong Kok, and the ideal Hong Kong market with an eye for a bargain. It is the perfect place to find souvenirs such as low-priced clothing, toys, cosmetics and household knick-knacks. The stalls open from 12 noon until 11:30pm.

Temple Street Night Market
Temple Street Night Market is the perfect place to pick up a few bargains. The street is piled with brightly lit stalls hawking a variety of clothing, pens, watches, electronic gadgets and much more. The local food stalls offer dishes of fresh seafood and hotpot for a true Hong Kong culinary experience. Open from 4 pm to midnight.

Jade Market
Jade Market is a great place to emerge in the wonderful display of jades. Stall holders will showcase a vast collection from valuable jade carvings to small, inexpensive accessories and nearby the market is Kansu Street and Jordan Road where an array of shops offer good bargain. Open from 10 am to 5 pm.

  • Take hotel shuttle bus to Mongkok subway station then travel 1 more station to Yau Ma Tei, on Tsuen Wan Line. Exit at D and walk about 10 min. (20 min from hotel)

Fa Yuen Street
Also known as Sports Shoes Street or Sneakers Street, Fa Yuen Street has over fifty stores scattered over both sides selling sports shoes and sports gears. Other stores selling bargain-priced trendy fashion and casual wear for men, women and children. Stores open between 10:30 am and 10:30 am.

Flower Market
Flower Market is the stage for exotic blossoms from around the world at an affordable price. During Chinese New Year (which usually falls in January or February), the market will become an attraction crowded with people who are eager to bring the best looking bunch of bouquets back home to start a new year. Goldfish Market
Goldfish Market gathers marine creatures and is a treasure island especially for those who have passion for fish. Goldfish Market provides an abundant source of supply. Open from 10:30 am to 10 pm.

Nathan Road
Nathan Road is the main thoroughfare on Kowloon Pennisula in a south-north direction from Tsim Sha Tsui to Mong Kok lined up with shops, restaurants and tourists. Opened in 2004, Langham Place Mall next to Mongkok subway station has a gross area of 600,000 square feet (56,000 square meters) with retail shops scattered over 15 levels. A food court is found on level 4 and a cinema with six screen houses and 1,122 seats on level 8. An “indoor alfresco dining” area is on the top floor offering a relaxing dining experience. Situated in the east and northwest of New Territories, Hong Kong Geopark is a unique natural area with special geological significance and natural and cultural landscapes. The park encompasses volcanic rock region and sedimentary rock region showcasing Hong Kong’s beautiful landforms. A perfect getaway to a cultural and natural environment. Wetland Park
The 61-hectare Hong Kong Wetland Park demonstrates the diversity of the Hong Kong's wetland ecosystem and highlights the need to conserve them. The Wetland Interactive World features themed exhibitions, a theatre, a souvenir shop, an indoor play area and a resource centre. Other facilities includes Stream Walk, Succession Walk, Mangrove Boardwalk and three Bird Hides and other different habitats. Opening hours: 10:00am to 5:00pm. Closed on Tuesdays.

Transportation:

  • From Olympic Station (4-min walk from hotel), guests can travel with Tung Chung Line to Nam Cheong station and change for West Rail Line all the way to Tin Shui Wai station. At Tin Shui Wai Station, change to Light Rail Train 705 / 706 to Tin Sau Station (via pedestrian tunnel) or Wetland Park Station (via pedestrian bridge) to the Park.
